Course Overview: A short interactive history based course, following the footsteps of the The Spanish Armada as it set sail from Spain in July 1588. The sinking of the Girona plus activities of shipwrecks and their lingering influence on Irish History. Footsteps of the Spanish Armada course originated from Ulster University's involvement in the North Coast Armada Connection (NCAC), an initiative that aims to promote a series of activities and events around the Armada shipwrecks and their lingering influence on the history of Ireland.
