Full course description
Course Overview: This short interactive course will introduce you to the practice of writing in persona through the examples of one poem by Ted Hughes and another by Sylvia Plath. You will be offered a critical reading of the texts to help identify and discuss key issues that the texts raise and writing techniques used by each poet.
During this short course you will have the opportunity to take part in 3 interactive lessons covering the following areas - 'Hawk Roosting' by Ted Hughes, ‘Mirror’ by Sylvia Plath as well as Formal Matters and Connections within the poetry.
